December 31, 2014

Off to a good start on my resolutions already. I'm now drinking water instead of coke. Need to add some Gatorade for metabolites. Sugary foods are eaten, so the "pantry" is good to go. I am still putting sugar in my coffee, but it's not a lot.

I have slipped some on taking my pills on schedule and using my inhalers regularly. I'll get back on track with that today. <pause there to take morning pills>

I've gotten my fitness band, but can't get my cellphone to connect to it by bluetooth, so can't use it. I'll go into the cell phone store on the 2nd and see if they can help me. If need be, I'll just buy a new phone that will work.

I am being more active in the minimal sense of getting out of my chair more often. It's not much, but it is a start.

Today is the first day I'll be trying to eat a little more healthily. I had a nutristystem cinnamon roll for breakfast. Will have to think about what a proper lunch will be. Maybe a nutrisystem bar and some of the fresh veggies I bought recently. Dinner tonight is at Nonna's since today is New Year's Eve, so I'll have to select what I eat carefully...or not. <grin>

Downtown Countdown is tonight so I'll be walking around a lot. Lots of good exercise.

I see my psychiatrist at 3:15 today, so I'll get those prescriptions refilled. I see Lindsay later this month.

Just got around to looking through the book about my new prescription insurance. Evidently I should have received my cards in the mail already. They're probably here somewhere. I think I need to make a new resolution to go through the mail and deal with it everyday. Much less stress than misplacing something this way.

I did finish off the cigarettes I had and I'm back to vaping. I miss the cigs more than I expected to, but I'll just have to muster up some willpower.

I've also quit playing Farmville 2 and deleted all of my access to it. Harsh, but I was starting to spend money on it--way too much. And this way I'll have more time for more productive pursuits

2015 Wellness Plans and Progress Reports

Getting a tiny bit of an advanced start on my plans for the New Year.

These plans include

1. Eat more vegetables
2. Cut out sugar
3. Use new fitness band to track stats
4. Take a walk - aim for everyday
5. Yoga
6. No cigarettes. Vaping allowed.
7. Cut my weight from 196.6 to at least something in the 160's
8. Continue to use both inhalers every day, and carry a ProAir at all times.

Progress so far

Smoked last cigarette and went back to vaping today.
Went to grocery store, and walked there for 30 minutes.
Weighed myself.

So, off to good start. Pat on the back for myself.
